marina

Harbour a dream

A favoured outpost among seasoned yachtsmen, Highbourne’s impeccable marina is located within a naturally sheltered harbour.

An ideal dock for those journeying through or around the Exumas, it features 750ft of face dock for yachts up to 180ft (8’ draft) and 16 back-in slips for boats of up to 75ft. Reservations ahead of arrival are strongly recommended.

More than simply a place to drop anchor, moor and refuel, the marina offers a series of welcome amenities including a well-stocked store, as well as showers and laundry for the comfort of overnighting sailing guests.

Expansiveness imbues every layer of a stay at Highbourne, whether the vast, captivating horizons or the deep serenity it awakens in its guests.

experience

An opportunity for exploration

A three-mile-long island edged with temperate waters, Highbourne presents plentiful possibilities for adventure. Whether your preference is for watersports that ignite your energy or activities that are more grounding in nature, the cay can indulge your desires.

Take yourself out – on foot, bike, boat or even golf buggy – and explore all that’s on offer: swim with the local Exuma sharks, don snorkels to witness underwater wildlife, kayak, fish, stargaze, wonder at stromatolites (living fossils, and the first evidence of life on earth). Or simply breathe in the peace and the evanescent hues of the local palette. And relax.
